Logistics Coordinator

Overview

Coordinate international and domestic logistics for the EC segment, covering shipping, documentation, customs and warehouse dispatch for nVent.

What you'll do

• Responsible for the processes in the Operations chain including safety, quality, logistics, warehousing and distribution.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound international and domestic shipments for EC segment.
• Track forwarder performance (transit times and other services).
• Select cost effective transportation modes for international shipping (ocean, ground, air and customs).
• Administer all documentation including Export Declaration, Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Airway Bills, Bill of Lading, E-way bill and Shipment manifest.
• Manage relationships with Customs brokers and other service providers, and communicate with import/export related authorities.
• Organize the dispatch of goods from nVent warehouses in Mumbai and Bangalore.
• Communicate transportation information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor inbound/outbound shipments out of nVent warehouse, complete inwards goods receipt in ERP and assist with inventory cycle counts.
• Manage transport bill provisions.
• Generate MIS reports.
• Store documents.

What you'll need

• Degree holder with specialization in Logistics, Warehousing and Distribution.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Logistics, Warehousing and Distribution.
• MS Office and ERP knowledge (Infor M3 or SAP).
• Skills: Communication, Problem Solving, Team Player.
