Overview
Work as a Spec Analytics Analyst in the North America Consumer Bank Customer Experience Analytics function, monitoring, assessing, analyzing and evaluating processes and data. The role uses data-driven insights to support business strategies and improve customer experience.
What you'll do
- Work with large and complex internal and external data sets to evaluate, recommend and support the implementation of business strategies.
- Identify and compile data sets using tools such as SQL and Access to help predict, improve and measure key business-to-business outcomes.
- Document data requirements and perform data collection, processing, cleaning and exploratory data analysis.
- Utilize statistical models, algorithms and data visualization techniques as needed.
- Monitor, assess, analyze and evaluate processes and data.
- Identify policy gaps and formulate policies.
- Interpret data and make recommendations.
- Research and interpret factual information.
- Identify inconsistencies in data or results, define business issues and formulate recommendations on policies, procedures or practices.
- Assess risk when business decisions are made, comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations, apply sound ethical judgment and escalate, manage and report control issues transparently.
- Write clean, efficient and well-documented code according to design specifications and coding standards.
- Use version control systems such as Git to manage code changes, collaborate with team members and maintain code history.
- Configure and maintain automated build processes such as Jenkins to compile code, run unit tests and create deployable artifacts.
- Execute code testing in Dev and UAT environments.
- Automate deployment pipelines, follow release procedures, verify post-deployment and troubleshoot production issues if any.
- Understand dependencies, design and consume APIs, ensure data flow integrity, resolve integration issues and maintain architectural awareness.
- Validate and maintain deployed models in production.
- Build partnerships with cross-functional teams.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 4 years of working experience or Master’s Degree with 5 years of working experience.
- Hands-on experience in Python, SQL and Machine Learning is a must.
- Analytic ability and problem solving skills.
- Working experience in a quantitative field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be organized, detail oriented and adaptive to a matrix work environment.
- Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with PySpark, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models or Gen AI, and prompt engineering.
- Background in Customer Experience analytics.
- Exposure to the credit card business.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Prior experience of Sprints deployment cycle.
- Bachelors/University degree in Computer Science Engineering or IT.
