Managed Service Sr Analyst, Research Office

Overview

Managed Services Sr Analyst on a cross-shore Research Office team, executing a portion of the Research Office portfolio for clients across the research industry, with a focus on sponsored financial management and post-award compliance.

What you'll do

• Manage your workload across multiple clients and ensure target dates are met.
• Support Client Leads by preparing and managing client communications.
• Provide leadership for the Analyst team and support their development and growth.
• Execute sponsored financial management transactions, including preparing invoices, managing receivables, and preparing and submitting financial reports.
• Establish awards in the grant administration and/or financial system, manage award activity and monitor expenditures, ensuring compliance with federal and sponsor guidelines and client policies.
• Identify and forecast spending trends that exceed current funding levels, clear all overdrafts and perform general financial reconciliations.
• Support post-award regulatory compliance activities, including subaward monitoring, cost transfer review and managing effort commitments.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts to help solidify foundations for growth.
• Collaborate with internal team members during projects, including presenting key takeaways, communicating project updates, and organizing overall project logistics.
• Update workplans to support overall project execution.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of relevant workflow execution or process improvement experience in a team-based environment within research operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Eagerness to engage in ongoing professional development and apply skills in the workplace to foster a continuous improvement environment.
• Familiarity with research and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with a variety of sponsored programs.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• Effective critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills; attentive to detail.
• Capable of maintaining a 3-4 hour overlap with US Eastern Time.

Nice to have

• Experience within research administration or sponsored awards.
• Experience supporting client communication and delivery.
