Sales Finance Support

Overview

Sales Finance Support role within the Finance and Corporate Strategy team, supporting capital strategies and financial analysis for the sales organization. This role is designed as hybrid.

What you'll do

• Provide complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business.
• Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.
• Provide analytics to business initiatives, typically representing a sub-function within finance for a particular business.
• Support critical sales finance activities such as month/quarter end close and flash discussions with business leaders.
• Prepare and update management reporting templates to facilitate internal finance reviews and reviews with geo management.
• Support key planning activities around budgeting and long-term planning, including driving internal reviews with business and interacting with WW GBU/FP&A stakeholders.
• Perform extensive analysis of multiple financial data sets and provide trends and insights to finance and business teams.
• Maintain compliance with internal HPE policies and GAAP principles.
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to drive business outcomes and communicate proactively with business partners.
• Support policy and process improvement and identify opportunities.
• Identify issues and propose solutions.
• Represent finance on cross-functional teams.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to analysts.

What you'll need

• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics.
• Typically 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
• Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Good business acumen.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA).
