Managed Services Linux & SAP SME

Overview

Serve as a Linux and SAP HANA infrastructure subject matter expert for managed services, handling complex support, upgrades, migrations, availability, and performance activities.

What you'll do

• Implement, migrate, and support RHEL and SUSE Linux environments.
• Support SAP HANA infrastructure, BOBJ, SAP Convergent Charging, SAP Convergent Mediation, and Cloud Connector.
• Perform OS and HANA database upgrades, add-on installations, and HA/DR setups.
• Troubleshoot critical customer issues and provide solutions independently.
• Manage application- and database-level performance tuning and system optimization.
• Automate administrative and operational support functions.
• Provide rotational 24x7 support, monitoring reports, incident handling, and guidance to support teams.

What you'll need

• Extensive Linux technical subject matter expertise, especially RHEL.
• Strong understanding of Linux and SAP HANA infrastructure technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Service Guard, Pacemaker, OS clustering, and Metro Cluster.
• Knowledge of high-availability, disaster-recovery, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning practices.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and preventive maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• RHEL certification and ITIL certification are required or preferred as stated in the posting.

• Hybrid role requiring an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office.
• Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
• Rotational 24x7 support is required.
