Manager – Business Analyst, Advisory

Overview

Manager role in PwC's Advisory Data, Analytics & AI practice, focused on assessing current-state business processes and developing AI/GenAI proof-of-concepts and scalable automated workflow designs for clients.

What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of the current state and pain points across Data, Technology, Process, People, and Risk & Controls.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize tasks, sub-processes, or areas where friction is acute and AI can provide significant impact.
• Utilize AI-driven tools and methodologies to perform in-depth current-state analysis and uncover opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Develop end-to-end, tailored solutions as POCs that directly target identified business friction and pain points.
• Ensure each POC is representative of a broader challenge and impactful enough to serve as a tangible demonstration of the proposed automated solution in a target state.
• Contribute to the rapid development of AI/GenAI and Report Rationalization proof-of-concepts.
• Assist in translating successful POCs into scalable, end-to-end automated workflow designs.
• Develop data-driven, strategic recommendations for report rationalization and process simplification based on POC findings.
• Act as a subject matter expert, bridging business needs and technical possibilities to ensure solutions are innovative, practical, and compliant with risk, control, and model/AI governance requirements.

What you'll need

• Full-time B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) degree.
• 8+ years of experience.
• Data Engineering skills.
• AI/GenAI Acumen: strong interest and ability to work with AI/GenAI-powered tools and methodologies for analysis and proof-of-concept development.
• Business Process Analysis: proven experience analyzing complex business processes, identifying pain points, and collaborating with business teams to define requirements.
• Strategic and Analytical Thinking: ability to understand the current state, identify opportunities, and contribute to the vision for a future, automated state.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: strong capability to work with diverse business and technology teams and present complex information clearly.
• Problem-Solving: strong passion for solving problems and developing innovative, tailored solutions that deliver tangible business impact.
• Agile Proficiency: experience working in an Agile environment and using tools like Jira for requirements documentation and project tracking.
