Overview

Manager-Engineering leads the Certification team specializing in Electrical discipline, supporting multiple Collins SBU’s and cross-functional stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Provide leadership and managerial direction to the Electrical certification team across multiple business units.
• Manage, develop, and motivate engineers working in Electrical Certification, Software Certification, and Qualification Testing.
• Own project planning, budgeting, schedules, and performance standards for multiple projects.
• Manage program risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Lead resource planning, hiring requirement analysis, and metrics/trend analysis to guide team strategy.
• Drive process excellence, continuous improvements, and compliance.

What you'll need

• 12-15 years of relevant experience in Electronics product development and qualification testing.
• 6-8 years of experience in project and people management.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in specified electrical/electronics engineering disciplines or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with RTCA DO-160, DO-254, and DO-178 standards for airborne equipment.
