Team Leader / Project Manager

Overview

Team Leader / Project Manager for a multidisciplinary consulting team under the PMTC assignment.

What you’ll do

• Lead, manage, and coordinate the multidisciplinary consultancy team deployed under the PMTC assignment.
• Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders including the Directorate of Energy, GoHP, funding agencies, contractors, consultants, and others.
• Develop project implementation strategies, work plans, monitoring mechanisms, and reporting frameworks.
• Ensure project objectives are achieved within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Provide direction and guidance to technical experts, field engineers, and support staff.
• Ensure adoption of resilient, climate-adaptive, and disaster-resistant engineering practices.
• Monitor compliance with applicable national standards, codes, regulations, and project-specific requirements.

What you’ll need

• Post-Graduation in Engineering/Management or an equivalent degree in the relevant field.
• At least 15 years’ experience in power sector project management.
• At least 5 years’ experience in resilience-related aspects of the power sector.
• Desirable experience in the Indian power sector.
