Manager, Supplier Quality Assurance Representative

Overview

Serve as a Pratt & Whitney Supplier Quality Assurance Representative covering the India region, reporting to the Sr SQA Manager Asia Region.

What you'll do

• Provide supplier on-site quality support.
• Carry out First Article Inspection reviews and approval.
• Conduct supplier surveillance audits.
• Manage the Supplier Designated Quality Representative Program.
• Support PW Supplier Quality initiatives throughout the supply base.
• Support quality initiatives at the supply base as required.
• Support escape, non-conformance and RCCA investigations.
• Support monitoring and management of supplier quantitative and qualitative risks.

What you'll need

• Engineering bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10-15 years' experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering and/or Quality Auditing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and procedures.
• Familiarity with various inspection tools and techniques, including CMM and layout inspection.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and AS13100 Quality Management standards.
• Experience with First Article Inspection.
• Experience with performing Root Cause Analysis (RCCA).
• Familiarity with shop operations, work instructions and quality documentation.

Nice to have

• AS9100 Lead/Internal Auditor qualification.
• Prior knowledge of PW specifications.
• APQP/PPAP tools experience.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Ability to effectively manage time and work with minimal supervision.
• Castings/forgings experience.
• Experience with tools such as MS Office or similar spreadsheet, presentation and word processing applications.
• Business English language writing and speaking skills.

• Role type: 100% remote, working from your home office and visiting suppliers; must be self-directed and manage own schedule.
