Manager - Systems Engineering

Overview

Manager, Systems Engineering providing technical leadership and delivery ownership across complex systems engineering programs.

What you'll do

• Lead systems engineering delivery across assigned programs and products with technical governance.
• Provide technical direction for Systems Engineers on complex, cross-functional systems.
• Drive requirements engineering maturity including elicitation, decomposition, traceability, validation, and change control.
• Lead system architecture/high-level design, interfaces, integration, verification/validation, and readiness reviews.
• Drive integration readiness across subsystems, interfaces, devices, APIs, data flows, and third-party dependencies.
• Plan and support verification/validation activities including test readiness, traceability review, and operational acceptance.
• Establish technical governance mechanisms and mentor a team of Systems Engineers.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years engineering experience in systems engineering/solution engineering/integration/product engineering or complex technical program delivery.
• Strong experience in requirements engineering, architecture/design, integration, verification, validation, and change management.
• Experience with DOORS, JIRA, DevOps, ALM, Confluence, SysML/UML, SQL, APIs, and JSON/XML.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and resolve complex cross-functional engineering issues.
• Strong understanding of system lifecycle delivery and technical governance.
