Overview

Marvel Business Affairs and Legal JD Intern (Spring 2027) to support Marvel Studios in legal matters across entertainment, corporate, and intellectual property topics.

What you'll do

• Prepare talent deals for feature films, streaming shows, and animated productions.
• Draft above-the-line and below-the-line agreements for feature films, streaming series, and animated productions.
• Analyze intellectual property rights, matters, and clearance issues involving Marvel assets.
• Collaborate directly with Marvel in-house attorneys on legal matters.

What you'll need

• Prior internship experience at a film or entertainment company or law firm.
• Excellent analytical skills to manage and follow through on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent research skills and resourcefulness.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• High discretion handling sensitive or confidential information.
• Be enrolled in an accredited law school and take at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation.
• Complete one or more years of law school in a current JD program at the start of the internship.

Details

• Approximate internship dates: January 2027 through May 2027.
• Remote internship requiring a working, reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
• Fully available Monday through Friday, 9am–6pm PST, 20 hours per week.
• Pay rate: $41.40 per hour.
