MAS-Quality Engineering-Manager

Overview

Lead quality assurance projects for ERP implementations within RSM's Managed Application Services (MAS) team, guiding testing teams and shaping test strategy, defect management and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Manage quality assurance projects, guiding teams of quality assurance engineers and testers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high performance of clients' software products.
• Develop, implement and maintain robust test strategies and plans that align with project goals and timelines.
• Establish and maintain defect tracking and management processes to ensure timely identification, documentation and resolution of software issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality engineering team to optimize processes, tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software development, product management and operations.
• Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to communicate test progress, results and quality status to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in quality assurance and test management, with at least 4 years of project management experience.
• Experience in testing ERP software.
• Functional knowledge of ERP software, including experience working on industry business processes of Order to Cash, Lead to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report.
• In-depth knowledge of test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Proven ability to project manage a team of quality engineers, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of test automation (Leapwork, Work Soft, Tosca, Selenium).
• Knowledge of performance automation (LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad).
