Master Data & Analytics Lead India

Overview

Lead master data and governance across the India end-to-end value chain (Plan, Make, Source, Deliver), building a single source of truth that supports digital transformation programs including O9, SAP S4/HANA and CPS.

What you'll do

• Architect and implement an authoritative master data repository so all systems consume from one golden record.
• Define golden record strategy for every data domain and eliminate duplicates, inconsistencies and shadow data across the enterprise.
• Drive 100% master data completeness and accuracy as a KPI for every system go-live.
• Partner with the Regional D&A team to identify and eliminate data leakage points across all source systems.
• Build mandatory system interlocks such as validation rules, mandatory fields and automated data quality gates at source.
• Implement real-time data quality monitoring with automated alerts and escalation protocols for critical exceptions.
• Conduct regular data health audits across all 17 sites (4 own and 13 EM) and enforce corrective action within defined SLAs.
• Rationalize and simplify data flows between systems, eliminating manual handoffs, spreadsheet bridges and reconciliations.
• Ensure automated MIS is fully operational, with real-time master data health dashboards for leadership and functional teams.
• Drive relevant master data into Google Cloud as the enterprise-wide central data lake.
• Design and deploy data pipelines for automated synchronization across O9, S4/HANA, CPS and Google Cloud.
• Establish a data governance operating model with Data Stewards, Data Owners and Function Champions across Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial, Finance and Manufacturing.
• Define and enforce RACI for every master data domain.
• Run monthly data governance forums with senior functional leadership, providing scorecards, trend analysis and escalation recommendations.
• Institutionalize data governance culture through training, change management and embedding data ownership in functional performance frameworks.
• Lead data workstreams within enterprise transformation programs (O9, SAP S4/HANA, CPS).

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in master data management and data governance.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership capacity.
• Proven track record of leading data workstreams in large-scale ERP or digital transformations.
• Hands-on experience with supply chain planning platforms such as O9, SAP APO, IBP or equivalent.
• Deep expertise in data governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM) and golden record or MDM strategies.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or BigQuery.
• Experience with automated MIS and data quality dashboards.
• Understanding of end-to-end supply chain is essential.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• SAP S4/HANA experience.
• FMCG or CPG industry background.
