Mechanical Simulation Engineer

Overview

Mechanical Simulation Engineer role focused on developing and executing mechanical simulations for medical product design and development.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute mechanical simulations to support medical device verification & validation.
• Perform technical analyses including numerical model development, material modeling, and failure/structural integrity/damage analysis.
• Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to provide simulation insights.
• Document simulation workflows and results to support commercialization and regulatory needs.
• Handle data reduction, plotting, and data visualization related to simulation outputs.

What you'll need

• Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering/biomedical engineering or a related discipline.
• Have 5 years of experience in mechanical simulations within industry.
• Alternatively, have 3 years of experience in mechanical simulations within industry with a Master’s degree.
• Have Solid Mechanics Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modeling experience.
• Experience using Comsol, Abaqus, or Ansys for simulations.
• Have CAD experience (Solidworks preferred).

• Work location is Bangalore (Hybrid).
• Travel may include up to 10% domestic and/or international travel.
