Overview
Mechatronics & Controls Engineer role focused on developing advanced control solutions for high-precision automation, robotics, and process control systems.
What you'll do
- Develop and validate advanced control algorithms for robotics, motion control, and process automation.
- Translate system requirements into control architectures, algorithms, and software solutions.
- Build mathematical models of static and dynamic behavior for complex mechatronic systems.
- Implement real-time control algorithms with focus on performance, robustness, and maintainability.
- Integrate sensors, actuators, servo drives, embedded controllers, and industrial communication interfaces.
- Conduct experimental validation, data collection, and system characterization to optimize performance.
What you'll need
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in control systems, automation, mechatronics, and controller design.
- Strong foundation in classical and modern control theory, including PID, state-space modeling, observer design, system identification, and servo tuning.
- Proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink and model-based design.
- Experience implementing embedded code generation and real-time control algorithms.
- Ability to perform system identification and parameter estimation using experimental and analytical methods.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field (Master’s preferred).
