Medical Process Excellence & Governance Lead

Overview

Lead Medical process excellence and governance by translating approved Medical Governance Office requirements into practical, documented end-to-end processes that teams can implement, follow, monitor, and improve.

What you'll do

• Translate approved governance and operating-model requirements into clear, workable processes.
• Design, update, and improve priority Medical processes supporting Medical Governance Office and other global Medical areas.
• Review existing ways of working to remove complexity and duplication and close process gaps.
• Document and maintain the Medical execution model, including roles, decision rights, approvals, and escalation routes.
• Facilitate alignment with global, regional, local, and Bengaluru teams and support adoption of new or updated processes.
• Introduce and monitor process improvements using measures like timeliness, delays, rework, overdue actions, user feedback, and exceptions.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 4 years in a biopharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industry.
• Experience reviewing, designing, improving, or implementing cross-functional processes.
• Experience in Medical Affairs operations, Medical governance, quality/compliance, business operations, or process improvement.
• Experience working with global, regional, and local stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
• Ability to understand and clearly describe an end-to-end process.
• Ability to identify unnecessary steps, duplication, delays, unclear responsibilities, missing checks, and difficult handoffs.
