Mobile Engineer (Colombia, All Levels)

Overview

Mobile Engineer (all levels) to build and maintain features for Sezzle’s React Native mobile app and support mobile app releases.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain new product features in a cross-platform TypeScript React Native app.
• Collaborate with feature owners to learn product areas and suggest improvements.
• Participate in design/architecture discussions and help shape next-generation features.
• Contribute to codebases and code reviews.
• Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code with the team.
• Support planning, estimations, and completion for projects from stakeholders.
• Provide mobile app platform support working with engineers across teams on releases.

What you'll need

• Experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
• Comfort leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, research, and communication (Claude or equivalent tools required).
• Familiarity with modern frontend development using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• React Native or React (web) experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s in computer science is preferred or equivalent related experience.
• Close familiarity with software engineering tools, development methodology, and release processes.

• Location line: Colombia, Remote.
• Compensation ranges are provided for Senior and Mid roles.
