Mobile Engineer III, iOS

Overview

Build and evolve shared native iOS payment components for Expedia Group brands. Own mobile features and infrastructure across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift and Apple frameworks.
• Design API contracts, low-level designs, and data models for mobile features.
• Write testable code using unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
• Deliver reusable mobile components and services with cross-functional teams.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production and pre-production issues.
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled or AI-assisted mobile solutions.

What you'll need

• 5+ years building and shipping native iOS applications.
• Experience with Swift, Xcode, and core iOS frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience owning mobile features or services end to end.
• Knowledge of API design, data modelling, asynchronous programming, and iOS performance optimization.
• Experience with source control, code reviews, and engineering and operational practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with iOS architectures such as MVVM or VIPER.
• Experience with large-scale consumer mobile applications.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting.
• Experience integrating AI/ML solutions on mobile.
