AVP, Mobile Engineer III - AI native (L10)

Overview

Lead the design, development, and evolution of production-scale native iOS applications and shared mobile capabilities while advancing Generative AI, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted engineering practices.

What you'll do

• Design and deliver complex iOS features and platform capabilities using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, and iOS SDKs.
• Build secure, scalable, performant, accessible, and reliable mobile applications.
• Integrate REST, GraphQL, WebSocket, authentication, and backend services.
• Integrate LLMs, AI agents, streaming responses, tool calling, structured outputs, and multimodal experiences.
• Develop reusable mobile APIs, SDKs, frameworks, components, and AI-native engineering patterns.
• Improve CI/CD, testing, observability, release reliability, and developer productivity through AI-enabled workflows.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture reviews, technical standards, and Agile coordination.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant IT experience, or 7+ years without a degree.
• Deep production experience with native iOS development, Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, and Apple iOS SDKs.
• Experience designing and supporting production-scale iOS applications and scalable architecture patterns.
• Experience with Swift concurrency, asynchronous networking, performance, security, accessibility, and observability.
• Experience integrating Generative AI or LLM capabilities, including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, tool calling, or AI agents.
• Experience with CI/CD, build automation, code signing, provisioning, automated testing, XCTest, and XCUITest.
• Strong analytical, system design, debugging, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Android, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, or cross-platform mobile patterns.
• Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, MCP, RAG, LangGraph, or LangChain.
• Experience with on-device AI, mobile CI/CD tools, observability platforms, accessibility standards, or regulated environments.
