Overview
Model Based Developer – LVEM role focused on automated unit testing for model-based (MBD/C) components and support for software verification in an automotive context.
What you'll do
- Develop unit test specifications for MBD/C components from software requirements and design documents.
- Design and implement automated unit tests using TPT and Google Test (GTest).
- Collaborate with software developers and system engineers to understand functional requirements and model behavior.
- Execute tests, debug issues, and analyze test results to ensure quality.
- Maintain and enhance test frameworks and infrastructure for continuous integration and automated testing.
- Document test cases, results, and coverage metrics for verification and validation.
- Support code reviews, model inspections, and test strategy discussions.
- Ensure compliance with ASPICE (SWE 4.5.6), ISO 26262, and MISRA where applicable.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- 3 to 7 years of working experience in Software Testing.
- Strong experience in Model-Based Design (MBD) using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Hands-on unit testing experience in MIL/SIL using TPT/vectorcast and GTest.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages like Python and Shell.
Nice to have
- Experience with HIL testing.
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety processes.
- Exposure to AUTOSAR architecture and tools.
- Experience with requirements management and traceability tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion).
