Model Validation Analyst 1

Overview

Model Validation Analyst I at Bread Financial’s Model Risk Management team, responsible for independent validation of business and bank models across the organization.

What you'll do

• Execute model validations independently with supervision.
• Perform end-to-end validations/testing for basic or less complex models/tools.
• Identify key model risks, and plan risk-based validation approach and scope.
• Design and conduct validation tests and draft model validation reports.
• Assess accuracy, robustness, stability, and limitations of models.
• Draft formal model validation documentation and proposed risk rating assessment.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external partners and build stakeholder trust.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Experience or academic training in quantitative methods.
• One or more years experience in the financial services industry and experience in risk management.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with SQL.
• Familiarity with Linear Regression.
• Familiarity with Logistic Regression.
