MS SQL Sybase ASE Developer - Assistant Manager

Overview

Develop and manage MS SQL and Sybase ASE database projects supporting real-time transaction processing in a financial services environment.

What you'll do

• Develop projects on a monthly software release cycle.
• Design enterprise solutions and application integrations.
• Support migration of on-premises applications to cloud-enabled platforms.
• Own development through production rollout using Waterfall and Agile approaches.
• Provide release weekend and production support.
• Perform data analysis and design field mappings and transformations.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of IT development experience in MS SQL and Sybase ASE database programming.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with performance tuning and advanced optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of post-trade processing and trade lifecycles for financial instruments.
• Experience testing software for complex business scenarios.
• Experience with production support and issue triage.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira and Agile boards.
• Exposure to Classic ASP, XSLT, and JavaScript.
