Overview

Expert performance engineer for Pure’s mission-critical FlashArray portfolio, focused on defining and validating industry-leading performance and extending capabilities into cloud.

What you'll do

• Define and drive next-generation performance benchmarking requirements and metrics for FlashArray products across platforms.
• Provide technical direction and leadership to a team of performance engineers and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Solutions, and Sales Engineering to model and validate critical customer use cases.
• Oversee deep-dive analysis of performance bottlenecks in the Linux storage and networking stack to improve throughput and latency.

What you'll need

• Experience designing and executing system-level performance testing for enterprise solutions including servers, SAN protocols (iSCSI, NFS, SMB), and databases.
• Expert-level proficiency with Linux systems, including network configuration, storage stack, system settings, and command-line utilities for tuning.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and provide architectural direction to software and performance engineers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills translating performance data into actionable improvements for product releases.

Details

• Work is primarily in-office, expected to work from the Bangalore office unless on PTO, work travel, or approved leave.
