NOC Engineer - Server / EKS

Overview

As a NOC Server Engineer (Server / EKS), you’ll deliver advanced 24x7 operational support for cloud-hosted servers across AWS and Azure, including Kubernetes (EKS) troubleshooting and major incident response.

What you'll do

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and operational support for Linux and Windows servers on AWS and Azure.
• Act as an escalation point for P1/P2 incidents and support major incident management.
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot infrastructure issues using observability tools.
• Support AWS services including EC2, VPC, Route 53, Security Groups, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, EKS, and RDS.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, node health issues, pod failures, scaling concerns, and workload availability.
• Validate infrastructure changes using approved processes and runbooks, and document incidents in ITSM tools.
• Support automation and participate in RCA reviews and operational improvement initiatives.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, NOC, SRE, Infrastructure Support, or Production Support.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting AWS and/or Azure infrastructure services.
• Advanced Linux and Windows Server administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and log analysis.
• Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes (EKS) environments and containerized workloads.
• Experience handling P1/P2 production incidents within a 24x7 support model.
• Experience with Splunk, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and Grafana (or equivalent monitoring tools).
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent ITSM platforms.
