Operations Engineer

Overview

Support production systems and infrastructure operations while leading incident, service request, and change activities across network, server, cloud, and contact center environments.

What you'll do

• Monitor infrastructure components and respond to incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Lead L1 and L1.5 teams handling incidents, service requests, and changes.
• Troubleshoot Windows, VMware, Linux, Unix, networking, cloud, and contact center environments.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve infrastructure issues.
• Escalate issues and provide regular operational updates to management.
• Document incident, change, and problem records in ServiceNow.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
• At least 4–5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure operations.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware vSphere, DHCP, Active Directory, and DNS.
• Routing and switching experience with FHRP, BFD, STP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VRF, IPSec, NAT, and policy routing.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 15 years of full-time education.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Nice to have

• CCNA or Microsoft Server Administration certification.
• Cloud Practitioner or foundational certification.
• ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation certification.

• Location: Pune.
• Work arrangement: Routine office attendance for 3 days.
• Flexible availability for 24/7 shifts is required.
