OT Security Architect

Overview

The OT Security Architect reviews and strengthens security architecture for IT and Operational Technology (OT) solutions across on-premises, cloud, and integration environments.

What you'll do

• Conduct security architecture reviews for new and existing IT/OT solutions.
• Assess security controls including authentication, logging, encryption, and API security.
• Identify security risks and recommend mitigations before deployment.
• Provide security guidance to project teams during design and build phases.
• Review integrations and APIs to ensure secure data exchange and protection mechanisms.
• Advise on secure coding principles and application security controls.
• Support improved technical documentation practices and collaboration on security concepts.

What you'll need

• Understand industrial systems (ICS/SCADA) and their risks.
• Design/review IT and industrial system architectures and identify security risks.
• Secure boundaries between IT and OT using firewalls and secure connectivity.
• Perform risk assessment considering operational constraints and availability needs.
• Integrate security controls early using security-by-design principles.
• Experience securing Microsoft Azure cloud services (access, network, configuration).
• Apply IAM including users, roles, permissions, and MFA.
