Packaged/SaaS App Engineering Lead

Overview

Own the design and evolution of packaged or SaaS solutions, overseeing configuration, integrations, and releases, and set platform standards to ensure stability, performance, and alignment with business and vendor constraints.

What you'll do

• Act as the subject matter expert, collaborating with and managing the team to deliver.
• Be responsible for team decisions and engage with multiple teams on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to align goals and expectations.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow.
• Strong knowledge of platform configuration, customization, and integration techniques within ServiceNow environments.
• Experience in managing release cycles and deployment processes for packaged or Software as a Service applications.
• Ability to establish and enforce platform standards that ensure system stability and performance.
• Skilled in troubleshooting complex issues and providing effective solutions across multiple teams.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
