Packaged/SaaS App Engineering Lead

Overview

Lead the design and continuous improvement of packaged or SaaS software solutions, overseeing configuration, integration and deployment to keep systems stable and performant while aligning with business objectives and vendor requirements.

What you'll do

• Act as subject matter expert, collaborate with and manage the team, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions, providing solutions to problems for the immediate team and across teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and delivery.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
• Oversee the configuration, integration and release cycles of packaged or cloud-based applications.
• Define and enforce platform standards for performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide scalable solutions.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience is required.
• Proficiency in Generative AI.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and cloud-based application design.
• Experience with integration techniques and managing software release cycles.
• Ability to define and enforce platform standards for performance and reliability.
• Skilled in troubleshooting complex system issues and providing scalable solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams.
• 15 years full time education is required.
