Software Engineer IV

Overview

Software Engineer IV is the senior-most engineering level at PDI Technologies, operating at the scope of a Software Architect. The role is roughly 60% hands-on design and coding and 40% architecture, technical leadership and mentoring.

What you'll do

• Own the technical architecture and solution design for your product area.
• Drive continuous increases in cloud maturity and mobility, defining how services are structured, integrated, secured and scaled.
• Make key design decisions for new and existing applications.
• Lead medium and large sized projects.
• Set technical direction and engineering standards across teams.
• Guide, train and mentor engineers at all levels.
• Partner with Product Management, Software Architects and DevOps on solution feasibility, estimation and the technical roadmap.
• Serve as the evangelist and custodian of the technology, architecture and product.
• Work in both Windows and Linux environments and learn a variety of programming languages.

• Expert proficiency in .NET Core.
• Expert proficiency in React.
• Expert proficiency in SQL Server.
• Expert proficiency in cloud-native architecture on Azure.
• Ownership of system design, architectural decisions and engineering quality across teams.
