Payor Change Coordinator- Remote

Overview

Payor Change Coordinator responsible for managing patient insurance and payor changes to support uninterrupted service, accurate billing, and reimbursement. This is a fully remote, work-from-home role involving patients, payors, branches, referral sources, and internal teams.

What you'll do

• Process patient insurance and payor changes.
• Verify coverage, eligibility, and payor information by phone and online.
• Obtain authorization for medical treatment.
• Research and resolve billing, documentation, and account discrepancies.
• Review accounts and invoices for accurate billing.
• Answer patient calls and explain insurance-change next steps.
• Document account activity in ACIS and other required systems.

What you'll need

• At least one year of related work experience.
• At least one year of medical billing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with payor contractual requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and discrepancy-resolution skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Access, MS Project, and Visio.
