Credit Professional

Overview

Manage customer credit and collections activities, resolve account discrepancies, and support accurate account reconciliation and risk management.

What you'll do

• Manage collections for up to 300 customer accounts monthly.
• Conduct outbound calls and document customer interactions.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies, short payments, and tax issues.
• Review customer contracts and coordinate with billing teams.
• Evaluate creditworthiness and recommend credit limits and risk mitigation strategies.
• Participate in internal meetings and customer calls to resolve account issues.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of customer service experience, or a high school diploma/GED and six years of customer service experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, research, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, including pivot tables, reporting, templates, and data merging.
• Ability to collaborate with finance, sales, and customer service teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B collections.
• Knowledge of account reconciliations.

Details

• Remote role in the United States.
• Travel may include up to 5% domestically or internationally.
• Expected compensation is $64,800–$89,100 yearly.
• Initial on-site onboarding travel is required for new hires starting October 1, 2025 or later.
