Penetration Testing - Director - Cybersecurity Engineering

Overview

Director-level role in Penetration Testing and Assessment within a cybersecurity engineering team.

What you'll do

• Perform security assessments on targeted assets to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Provide coverage of key cybersecurity controls focused on penetration testing/ethical hacking.
• Plan, test, document, and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls across critical assets.
• Develop and analyze cybersecurity metrics to identify trends.
• Establish relationships with senior leadership and relevant control and business groups.
• Share knowledge, techniques, and toolsets within the team.

What you'll need

• 7 or more years of total work experience.
• At least 5 years in IT Security.
• Significant experience with ethical hacking/penetration testing.
• Excellent understanding of defense-in-depth principles and network security architecture.
• Knowledge of common attack vectors and associated mitigation controls.
• Knowledge of penetration testing principles, techniques, and tools.
• Knowledge of vulnerability scoring systems (CVSS/CMSS).
• Excellent writing and presentation skills to communicate findings and status.
• Detail oriented, organized, methodical, and analytical with follow-up skills.
