Performance & Analytics Analyst

Overview

Join the Performance department in Global Technology & Operations as an Investment Performance Analyst, supporting the institutional performance team in calculating and reporting performance to portfolio managers, client reporting and servicing teams, custodians and final clients.

What you'll do

• Analyze account total return for institutional portfolios that fall outside acceptable tolerance versus the benchmark or representative account for the investment strategy.
• Prepare and review gross of fees and net of fees performance reports, along with risk statistics, on a scheduled and ad hoc basis.
• Perform QC and reconciliation tasks for institutional portfolios.
• Review and sign off account performance on a monthly basis.
• Train and groom new joiners on various performance reports.
• Assist the team in SOP documentation.

What you'll need

• Any Graduate/MBA (Finance).
• Experience in investment performance measurement, up to 2 years.
• Strong knowledge of portfolio performance measurement.
• Strong understanding of the fundamentals of capital markets and investment performance measurement methodologies.
• Good logical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills and strong client focus.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Key accountability: meet all KPIs consistently.

Nice to have

• Good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
