Pharmacy Sales Consultant - Queens, NYC

Overview

Consultative sales professional responsible for selling products and services to community pharmacies in the Queens, New York territory. The role manages customer retention, new business development, and territory performance through field-based customer engagement.

What you'll do

• Achieve annual sales objectives for the assigned territory.
• Build business plans to improve short- and long-term territory performance.
• Lead consultative sales opportunities from qualification through contract negotiation.
• Develop sales opportunities through cold calling and coordinated efforts.
• Prepare proposals, business reviews, presentations, demonstrations, and promotions.
• Maintain customer relationships and provide troubleshooting support.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce.com data and real-time sales forecasts.

What you'll need

• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of sales experience with a record of meeting or exceeding goals.
• At least 2 years of medical or pharmacy experience.
• At least 4 years of B2B field sales experience.
• Proficiency with a CRM tool and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Authorization to work unrestricted in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business management, or a healthcare-related field.
• Experience in retail/distribution, healthcare delivery, pharmacy, community pharmacy, benefits, or insurance.

• Remote/home office work environment with field-based customer responsibilities.
• Territory: Queens, New York; candidates should ideally live in the New York City area.
• Extensive travel required, including 8–12 overnight trips per month and travel approximately 80% of the time.
• Total target cash: $132,900–$221,500 annually.
