Specialist Seller - Connected Maintenance - Public Sector

Overview

Own enterprise sales for Samsara Connected Maintenance across strategic public-sector accounts in a remote U.S. role. Drive adoption of an emerging product through complex, high-value sales cycles and cross-functional partnership.

What you'll do

• Co-develop an emerging product pipeline with account executives across major public-sector accounts.
• Drive pilot strategy and define early-adoption success metrics.
• Lead executive-level discovery and storytelling for emerging products.
• Develop executive relationships within strategic named accounts.
• Drive Maintenance sales cycles from prospecting and qualification through close.
• Build scalable sales frameworks, assets, and insights.
• Partner with go-to-market and Product teams to shape the roadmap.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of complex, full-cycle enterprise solution sales experience.
• Consistent quota over-achievement in complex accounts.
• Experience with transactions of $500,000 or more in annual recurring revenue.
• Experience working with line-of-business stakeholders in SLED or government entities.
• Willingness to conduct strategic outbound prospecting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer skills.
• Ability to lead through influence in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Overlay or new product launch experience.
• Experience influencing go-to-market strategy with Product and Marketing.
• Experience partnering strategically with senior account executives.
• Experience presenting to and influencing C-suite executives.
• Top-achievement awards such as President's Club, Winner's Circle, or Top 10%.
