Platform Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

Build and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across GCP and AWS. The role focuses on Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, observability, automation, and multi-region resilience.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain VM and Kubernetes infrastructure across development, staging, and production.
• Build Terraform modules and Spacelift workflows for networking, compute, storage, and security.
• Develop observability solutions with Grafana Cloud, Prometheus/Mimir, and OTel collectors.
• Manage certificates, DNS automation, ingress controllers, and Cilium service-mesh networking.
• Partner with engineering, product, compliance, and security teams on capacity planning and disaster recovery.
• Automate operational tasks through scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted coding tools.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations and lead post-incident reviews.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Go.
• Knowledge of network topologies and protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/S, UDP, and TLS.
• Production Kubernetes expertise covering administration, RBAC, networking, workloads, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Knowledge of GCP services including GKE, VPC networking, Cloud DNS, IAM, and Workload Identity.
• Ability to use LLM-based code-assist tools to build and troubleshoot software.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitOps methodologies and tools.
