Overview
Platform Support Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure and applications while ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and implement Azure cloud-based solutions.
- Deploy and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Maintain and monitor Azure infrastructure and workloads, applying changes and upgrades.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Azure infrastructure issues.
- Develop disaster recovery plans and help with cost management strategies for Azure usage.
- Provide technical support, guidance, training, and mentorship to team members on Azure.
What you'll need
- 6–8 years of work experience, including at least 5 years as a Cloud Technology-based platform/infrastructure support professional.
- Readiness to work in shifts, including night shifts.
- Strong experience with infrastructure build and configuration on cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
- Proficiency with Azure technologies including Virtual Networks, Load Balancer, and Azure SQL Database.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python, and programming languages like C#.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Bitbucket and Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
