PLC Programmer

About the role

We're looking for a hands-on PLC Programmer to join our team in Coimbatore. You'll work directly on industrial automation projects with on-site visits to client locations, designing and maintaining control systems that keep operations running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Develop and program PLC systems using ladder logic and structured text for manufacturing and industrial automation applications
• Conduct on-site visits to client facilities for system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Design and implement HMI (Human-Machine Interface) solutions to monitor and control automated processes
• Diagnose and resolve control system issues in real-time, minimizing downtime
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and operations teams to ensure seamless system integration and performance

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in PLC programming and industrial automation
• Strong proficiency in ladder logic and familiarity with major PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or equivalent)
• Willingness to travel on-site for client visits, installations, and commissioning work
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, control logic, and automation fundamentals

Nice to have

• Experience with SCADA systems and networked control architectures
• Knowledge of safety-related PLC programming (SIL certification)
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
