Overview
Power BI Specialist/Data analyst responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards, semantic models, and analytical solutions to support data-driven decision-making across business functions.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and analytical solutions.
- Transform enterprise data (including SAP HANA data) into actionable insights with accuracy and performance focus.
- Develop complex applications with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate using SharePoint/Dataverse or SQL as a backend.
- Establish app data storage and retrieval on enterprise data platforms.
- Gather business requirements, set development priorities, and convert requirements into process flow charts.
- Organize change requests with structured traceability and conduct design review meetings to track timelines.
- Support business users during user acceptance testing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data analytics, computer science, information systems, engineering, statistics, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service in enterprise reporting environments.
- Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, data modeling, KPI design, visualization standards, and report performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience analyzing SAP data for specified areas (MM, PIR, Customer and Pricing, Finance Master Data, and Costing) including data relationships.
- Strong SQL skills for extraction, validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and analytical data preparation.
- Experience with data profiling, cleansing, exploratory analysis, trend/variance analysis, root-cause investigation, and insight communication.
- Knowledge of data governance including role-based access, row-level security, data quality, documentation, and controlled deployment.
