What you'll do

• Guide, mentor, and align Portfolio Security Leads (PSLs) and Security Champions to uphold AppSec policies and standards.
• Act as the primary AppSec SME for ATHIP, providing guidance, incident support, and escalation.
• Drive continuous threat modeling, scanning, security reviews, and timely vulnerability remediation across ATHIP portfolios.
• Oversee AppSec training activities for PSLs and Security Champions.
• Provide quarterly AppSec briefings to the ATHIP CTO and prepare monthly AppSec reports.
• Partner with GIS and DevSecOps CoE to support attestation, incident management, CI/CD security controls, and governance.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 12+ years of experience in application/product security, software engineering, or related roles.
• GIAC GSEC, CISSP, or equivalent baseline certification plus a vendor-neutral Secure SDLC/AppSec certification (preferred).
• Proficiency in modern programming languages including Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with security testing tools such as SAST, SCA, DAST, IaC scanning, and container/runtime scanning.
• Experience embedding security checks into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
