Principal Data Operations Analyst (Machine Learning and Python skills preferred)

Overview

Principal Data Operations Analyst role in NielsenIQ’s Market Insights business process, focused on BAU data production, quality checks, and operational workflow ownership.

What you'll do

• Execute advanced data coding, matching, and transformation tasks.
• Run quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Audit stakeholder-requested dataset changes and validate them precisely.
• Ensure timely and accurate data delivery per SLAs.
• Lead issue investigations and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for data or delivery problems.
• Guide and mentor junior analysts and audit team outputs for quality.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in data operations, analytics, or market insights.
• Hands-on experience in Machine Learning is required; Python skills are preferred.
• Proven expertise in data coding, matching, and quality assurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating teams, mentoring, and managing workload.
• Ability to understand market trends and use AI tools.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms.
