Overview
Principal Data Scientist - AI role focused on architecting and deploying advanced AI solutions across Anaplan’s AI applications.
What you'll do
- Lead research, design, and implementation of ML and deep learning models for enterprise problems.
- Develop and scale time series forecasting and predictive analytics for planning and scenarios.
- Architect generative AI and LLM solutions, including fine-tuning for enterprise data tasks.
- Design conversational AI interfaces and agentic AI workflows for autonomous planning experiences.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design to move models from prototype to production systems.
- Mentor data scientists and engineers and support technical excellence practices.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of hands-on professional experience in AI, ML, or related engineering.
- End-to-end model lifecycle experience, including training and deploying ML models in production.
- Deep knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and conversational AI patterns.
- Experience fine-tuning LLMs for domain-specific enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in Python and modern software practices including testing, code review, and CI/CD.
- Strong MLOps and LLMOps experience for scalable, reliable, monitorable deployments.

- Hybrid model: onsite two days per week for employees within commuting distance of an office.
