Staff AI Engineer (L4)

Overview

Staff AI Engineer (L4) leading the architecture, development, deployment, and monitoring of production AI/ML systems, including LLMs and RAG.

What you'll do

• Translate customer and stakeholder challenges into technical designs and AI strategies.
• Architect, build, and deploy scalable AI/ML platforms and tools.
• Lead development, evaluation, fine-tuning, and monitoring of production AI/ML models.
• Design CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and deployments via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Monitor system health and lead incident response for critical AI systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience as an AI/ML Engineer, Data Scientist, or Software Engineer with production ML focus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s/PhD preferred).
• Production experience taking AI solutions from concept to high-scale production using Java, C#, Go, or Python.
• Deep experience with Generative AI, including prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, and agentic workflows.
• Strong system design ability for distributed systems and microservices for model serving.
• Expertise in Python (preferred) and ML frameworks; LLM orchestration tools listed.
