Senior Prompt Designer II

Overview

Lead the prompt architecture strategy, governance, and quality standards for consumer-facing career tools. Partner across Content, Engineering, Data, and Product to build scalable, maintainable prompt systems.

What you'll do

• Define prompt architecture, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment playbooks.
• Design multi-agent and chain-of-thought prompt systems for resume builder flows.
• Align prompt strategies with model selection, API costs, performance budgets, and roadmaps.
• Build evaluation frameworks and safety guardrails for LLM outputs.
• Translate cross-functional requirements into production-grade implementations.
• Evaluate emerging AI models and tooling and recommend adoption.
• Mentor prompt management teams and establish processes and quality standards.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience with AI/ML systems, language technologies, or software product engineering.
• 4–5 years of prompt design or LLM product development experience.
• Experience shipping consumer-facing features at scale.
• Expertise in RAG, multi-agent architectures, chain-of-thought, and context window management.
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google LLM providers.
• Experience with LLM evaluation pipelines and prompt versioning workflows.
• Ability to influence roadmaps and mentor prompt designers or AI content teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with resume builders, HR tech, or career content platforms.
• Familiarity with fine-tuning, RLHF, or preference data workflows.
• Experience with JSON Schema, Pydantic, or equivalent validation tools.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangSmith, PromptLayer, or equivalents.
• Open-source prompt design contributions or published writing.

• Remote, work from home.
• Full-time position for residents of specified U.S. states and territories.
• Starting pay range: $120,000–$160,000 USD yearly.
