Principal Engineer – Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)

Overview

Principal Engineer for Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), serving as the technical authority for enterprise and customer-facing IAM, authentication, authorization, and directory services.

What you'll do

• Own global IAM and directory services architecture for enterprise, partner, and customer-facing applications.
• Define and evolve end-to-end IAM architecture across Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD & B2C), Oracle Unified Directory (OUD), and Linux/Unix authentication.
• Design for high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and regional resilience.
• Ensure authentication and authorization service reliability across hybrid environments.
• Eliminate single points of failure and prevent identity issues that cause access disruption and compliance risk.
• Architect non-human (AI/robotic) identity lifecycle management, authentication/authorization, and rotation.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, directory services, or security platform engineering.
• Architectural-level expertise with Active Directory (enterprise and hybrid), Entra ID/Azure AD (including B2C), OUD, and Linux/Unix authentication.
• Strong understanding of authentication/authorization flows, federation/synchronization, and RBAC/ABAC/policy-based access.
• Hands-on experience with identity protocols including SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, Kerberos, LDAP/LDAPS, SCIM, RADIUS, and SSH key-based authentication.
• Ability to design for availability, resilience, and failure scenarios.
• Automation/integration experience with PowerShell, Python, APIs, and (preferred) infrastructure-as-code.
