Principal Enterprise Architect

Overview

Principal Enterprise Architect responsible for defining customer architecture, data and cloud strategy and supporting pre- and post-sales engagements.

What you'll do

• Lead and define overall architecture, data and cloud strategy for largest client accounts.
• Engage with C-level executives to align strategic objectives with the Celonis technical strategy.
• Drive innovation by architecting solutions that leverage emergent technologies, including Agentic AI.
• Assess customer installed-base IT landscape maturity for the region.
• Support pre-Sales and post-Sales phases with customer architecture and security teams.
• Bridge product & engineering and client teams to deliver technical services.
• Coach consulting teams and ecosystem partners on technical implementation (architecture, integration, performance, scalability).

What you'll need

• 10 to 15 years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in data architecture, integration patterns, and development with data-related languages (SQL, Python).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort switching from explaining architecture diagrams to coding/assembling a demo.
• Strong technical background focused on system integrations, data operations and automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and SaaS solutions, cybersecurity posture fundamentals, API ecosystems, and legacy on-prem enterprise architectures.
