Principal Information Security Engineer, ITC

Overview

Principal Information Security Engineer supporting application security consulting and advising technology teams and business partners on risk reduction and information security by design.

What you'll do

• Assess solutions and identify risks within Nike ecosystems.
• Assess controls for highly sensitive data with stakeholders.
• Provide security guidance aligned with information security standards, priorities, threats, and risk appetite.
• Help business and technical teams produce secure solutions.
• Prioritize security-related work with technology and business teams.
• Report threat and risk reduction efforts to leadership.
• Support vulnerability management, cloud governance, and secure software lifecycle practices.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of experience in information security, training, or information technology.
• At least 3 years of hands-on AI security experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Management, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience assessing AI/ML security posture, identifying risks, and recommending improvements.
• Experience leading technologists and driving adoption of security tools, processes, frameworks, and best practices.
• Strong technical, written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP, CISM, or CRISC.
