Overview

Lead machine learning engineering for Prisma AIRS, focusing on low-latency, accurate security tasks across edge and cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Lead SLM tuning initiatives for edge-cloud security tasks.
• Develop data classification strategies using ML, NLP, and deep learning.
• Extract threat patterns from structured and unstructured datasets.
• Partner with product, security, and cloud engineering teams.
• Integrate ML solutions into scalable production systems.

What you'll need

• 14+ years of software engineering industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience in ML, NLP, or AI systems.
• MS or PhD in a stated technical field or related field.
• Expertise in Python and PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with LLMs or SLMs, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.
• Experience building and scaling auto-classification and anomaly detection models.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and AI safety vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with DistilBERT and open-source classification models.
• Experience with large graph-based datasets.
• Expertise in distributed cloud systems using GCP or AWS.
