Principal Product Manager

Overview

Principal Product Manager to lead agent-assisted investigation and reliability experiences for observability telemetry, helping users move from signals to resolution.

What you'll do

• Own the roadmap, health, and competitiveness of current data experiences (e.g., logs/metrics/search, tracing, dashboards, and UI).
• Own the reliability and alerting surface including monitors, alerts, SLOs, and scheduled searches.
• Drive alerting accuracy, noise reduction, and operational health signals for both current and automated future workflows.
• Define how users move from search/monitor/dashboard/alert to likely causes with supporting evidence.
• Shape investigation workflows that reason across logs, metrics, traces, monitors, dashboards, and operational context.
• Translate strategy into PRDs, proposals, user stories, acceptance criteria, and phased rollout plans.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of product management experience with real observability or monitoring domain background.
• Hands-on experience owning products in observability/monitoring/incident response/APM or closely adjacent operational-telemetry space.
• Deep first-hand understanding of observability surface area (logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, monitors, alerts, SLOs).
• Proven ability to run a live, at-scale product while owning roadmap, health, and competitiveness.
• Familiarity with how AI and agents change data interaction (e.g., natural-language investigation, guardrails, human-in-the-loop).
• Strong analytical skills using telemetry, dashboards, SQL, and usage data to understand adoption, friction, reliability, and cost.
• Comfort writing clear proposals/decision docs/PRDs and acceptance criteria across technical and business audiences.
