Principal Product Manager, Core Network

Overview

Principal Product Manager for Circle’s Core Network, owning product strategy and evolution for the CPN Payments Engine.

What you'll do

• Own the long-term product vision and roadmap for the CPN Payments Engine.
• Set strategy to improve payment success rates, latency, resilience, and processing efficiency.
• Define the direction for OFI Payments APIs and BFI quoting and settlement protocols.
• Identify and lead investments to expand payment use cases, corridors, rails, and partner capabilities.
• Define product capabilities for monitoring, alerting, exception management, and operational tooling.
• Partner cross-functionally to drive alignment and decisions on high-impact investments.
• Develop product leadership frameworks, metrics, and practices for payment infrastructure, including mentoring.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including significant Product Management in payments/fintech/financial infrastructure.
• Deep experience owning platform/infrastructure products (e.g., APIs, payment processing, settlement, routing).
• Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and lead highly complex initiatives across multiple teams.
• Strong analytical and technical fluency using payment performance, reliability, and operational data.
• Track record delivering measurable improvements to large-scale system outcomes (reliability, success rates, latency, scalability, efficiency).
• Ability to evaluate complex technical and business trade-offs into clear product decisions and investments.
• Strong cross-functional influence and communication with Engineering, Compliance, Operations, and commercial teams.
